How to deal with the flexibility of light slewing ring

Light-duty slewing bearings will appear insensitive to rolling. Facing such a problem, how should we deal with it?

Two common aspects of insensitive rolling of light slewing ring

1. Newly purchased products are not sensitive to idling. Please check the production date of the light-duty slewing bearing. If the time is longer, such as more than half a year, and the climate is cold, it is possible that the viscosity of the grease in the raceway is relatively large, which may cause poor work in cold areas and prominent in winter. Elimination method: normal use if it can work and there is no other abnormality after adding force; if there is abnormal noise, check whether there is any serious trauma during transportation, and feed the information back to our company's sales service department for processing.

2. The work is not sensitive after installation. It may be that the installation surface of the main engine and the light-duty slewing ring do not cooperate well, resulting in that the axial clearance of the light-duty slewing ring after installation cannot compensate for the deformation of the light-duty slewing ring. The light-duty slewing ring is in a negative clearance condition, and the rolling body is difficult to work in the raceway. Accompanied by abnormal noise, or poor meshing of large and small gears, or foreign objects stuck in the large and small gears.

Insensitive rolling of light slewing ring is eliminated:

1. Process the installation plane of the host machine from the beginning to make the installation plane meet the requirements; or use the gasket to fully process it.

2. Adjust the meshing backlash of the large and fine gears according to the requirements from the beginning, especially pay attention to the maximum direction of gear runout.

3. Check to ensure that there is no foreign matter in the meshing position of the large and fine gears.

4. Replace a light slewing bearing with a slightly larger gap.

Reasons for insensitive rolling during use of light slewing ring:

1. Lack of grease, fill it up as required.

2. The sealing strip is damaged and foreign matter enters the raceway. If the working conditions are poor, the raceway will invade dust.

3. Check the meshing of large and fine gears, whether there are foreign objects or broken teeth. If the light-duty slewing bearing still fails to roll after taking the above measures, there may be a failure in the raceway, please inform our after-sales service department for handling.
