Before installing the slewing ring, check the mounting surface of the main engine. The support should have sufficient strength, the connecting surface should be machined, and the surface should be smooth and free of debris and burrs. For those that cannot be machined to achieve the required flatness, special plastics with high injection strength can be used as fillers to ensure the accuracy of the installation plane and to reduce vibration. The ring of the slewing bearing has a quenched soft zone, which has the symbol S on the end face of the ring. The position of the soft zone should be placed in the non-load area or the very constant load zone during installation (the plug hole is always located at the soft zone ).
When installing the slewing bearing, first perform radial positioning, intersperse and tighten the mounting bolts, and check the rotation of the bearing. In order to ensure the smooth transmission of the bearing, the gears should be meshed and checked before the mounting bolts are tightened. There should be a sufficient pre-tightening force when tightening the bolts, and the pre-tightening force should be 70% of the yield limit of the bolt material. Mounting bolts should be equipped with quenched and tempered flat washers, and spring washers are prohibited. After the slewing bearing is installed, put it into work. After 100 hours of continuous work, check whether the pre-tightening torque of the mounting bolt meets the requirements. Repeat the above check every 500 hours of continuous work.
The slewing bearing should be filled with an appropriate amount of smooth grease at the end of the installation, and the slewing bearing should be filled while the smooth grease is evenly distributed. The slewing bearing will inevitably lose part of its smooth grease after working for a period of time. Therefore, the slewing bearing in normal operation should be compensated for once every 50-100 hours. For slewing bearings that work in high temperature environments or dusty conditions, the period of adding smooth grease should be appropriately shorter. When the machine is to be shut down for storage, it is also necessary to fill it with satisfactory grease.
Slewing bearing smoothness and maintenance methods:
1. A small amount of No. 2 extreme pressure lithium-based grease (GB/T7324-1994) is applied to the track of the slewing bearing when it leaves the factory. When it is used, it should be filled with new grease from the beginning according to different working conditions.
2. The slewing bearing raceway should be filled with smooth grease regularly. Generally, ball bearings are refueled every 100 hours of work, and roller bearings are refueled every 50 hours. In special working environments, such as tropical, high humidity, dusty, large temperature differences, and continuous work, the smoothing cycle should be shortened. It is also necessary to add new grease before and after the machine stops working for a long time. It is necessary to fill the raceway with smooth grease every time it is smoothed until it seeps out from the sealing belt. When filling the smooth grease, roll the slewing support slowly to make the smooth grease filled evenly.
3. The tooth surface should be removed frequently and coated with corresponding smooth grease.
